With hearts overflowing with gratitude and excitement, we are thrilled to finally share the news that so many of you have been patiently waiting for...
**Grace and Barron have welcomed their newest little bear cubs into the Mid West Rotties family!** At the moment, all are spoken for until confirmations are in.
Labor began at 9:15 p.m. on July 21st and, after approximately 13 unforgettable hours, these precious little blessings made their arrival. Throughout the entire journey, **we** were by Mama Grace's side, supporting her every step of the way. It was truly a team effort, and watching Grace's natural instincts shine as she welcomed her little ones into the world was an incredible blessing.
Mama Grace is doing an amazing job with her new little bear cubs. She has been incredibly attentive from the very beginning, faithfully caring for each one while continuing to provide the nutrition, comfort, and building blocks of life they need to grow strong and healthy. Their first veterinary wellness visit has already been completed, and tails and dew claws have been taken care of. Everyone is doing wonderfully, and now it's time for lots of rest, plenty of nursing, and enjoying these first precious days together.
For our extended MWR family who has patiently stood beside us throughout the past three years and our personal Stage 4 cancer battle, thank you. This litter is an especially meaningful blessing, and we couldn't be more excited to finally share this moment with all of you.
Our commitment to these little bear cubs begins long before they ever join their forever families. For the first 3½ to 4 weeks of life, someone from our family is beside the whelping box 24 hours a day. This constant care allows us to closely monitor every little one, help prevent accidental injuries as Mama Grace moves about, and make sure each little bear cub has equal time at the "milk bar." It's a level of commitment that requires long days, sleepless nights, and plenty of coffee—but we wouldn't have it any other way. Every one of these little bear cubs deserves the very best start in life, and that's exactly what we are committed to providing.
Beginning Wednesday, we will start contacting families on our waiting list.
Before your call, we kindly ask that you take a few moments to review our **Adoption Information page**. It covers the foundation of our adoption process, including pricing, our **Starter Adoption Package**, AKC registration options, and many of the questions families commonly ask. By reviewing the basics beforehand, our conversation can focus on what matters most—getting to know your family, your lifestyle, your hopes for your future furry family member, and answering the questions that are unique to you. It also ensures we're all starting from the same place, allowing our time together to be far more personal and meaningful.
Our Starter Adoption Package is designed to help make those first few weeks at home a little easier. It provides many of the essentials your little bear cub will need during those first 3 to 4 weeks, giving your family time to settle in and get to know your newest furry family member before spending additional money on supplies. Since little bear cubs grow so quickly, many of these starter items are the perfect size for this exciting stage of life.
While we'll be reaching out to families beginning this week, we'll be waiting a little longer before announcing the litter size. Those first several days are incredibly important, and we'd rather simply enjoy these precious moments while allowing every little bear cub the opportunity to continue growing stronger each day.
If all continues to progress as beautifully as it has, our little bear cubs are anticipated to begin joining their forever families on or around **September 12th**, at roughly eight weeks of age.
To every member of our extended Mid West Rotties family, thank you for your prayers, your patience, your encouragement, and for celebrating this incredible milestone alongside us. We truly consider it an honor each time one of our little bear cubs becomes part of another loving family. They may be born here, but before long they'll become someone's best friend, loyal protector, faithful companion, and cherished furry family member. They will always be one of our furry grandchildren.
From the bottom of our hearts... welcome to the world, little bear cubs. We can't wait to introduce each and every one of you over the coming weeks.
