If you're reading this, thank you for considering Mid West Rotties as you search for your newest furry family member.
We understand that welcoming a Rottweiler into your home is a decision that will impact your family for many years to come. Choosing the right breeder is just as important as choosing the right little bear cub.
Our goal is simple—to make every step of the adoption process as clear and transparent as possible. By taking the time to explain not only **what** we do, but **why** we do it, we hope to eliminate uncertainty, answer many of your questions before they're asked, and set clear expectations from the very beginning.
We believe clarity creates confidence, confidence builds trust, and trust is the foundation of every lasting relationship.
Most importantly, this approach creates a positive experience for everyone involved—your family, our family, and especially our little bear cubs. --- Our Philosophy
For more than three decades, our philosophy has remained unchanged.
Our furry family members always come first.
Every decision we make—from our breeding program and prenatal care to our waiting list, pickup process, and lifetime commitment—is centered around giving each little bear cub the healthiest, happiest start in life.
We have never measured success by the number of litters we produce or the number of little bear cubs we place. Success, to us, is watching our furry grandchildren grow into beloved members of wonderful families.
That is, and always will be, our greatest reward. --- Joining Our Waiting List
Joining our waiting list is completely free.
When you contact us, we'll gladly add your name based on the date we hear from you and your preferred sex.
One thing we want every family to know is that our waiting list **never** determines how many litters we produce.
We refuse to let demand dictate our breeding decisions.
Our girls are bred only when they are physically mature, healthy, and ready. Their well-being will always come before producing another litter. --- When Reservation Deposits Are Accepted
Unlike many breeders, we do not collect reservation deposits before a litter arrives.
Once our little blessings are safely here, healthy, and we know how many little bear cubs are available, we begin contacting families in the order they joined the waiting list.
Before accepting a reservation deposit, we like to have a conversation with each family. This gives us an opportunity to answer questions, explain the next steps, and ensure everyone feels comfortable moving forward.
Reservation deposits are **$500** and are applied toward your total adoption investment—they are not an additional fee.
The remaining balance is due when you pick up your newest furry family member. --- Choosing Your Little Bear Cub
This is one of the most exciting moments in the entire journey, and we believe every family deserves to enjoy it without feeling rushed.
Pickup appointments are scheduled individually in the order reservation deposits are received. Each family is given dedicated time with us so you can ask questions, complete paperwork, spend time with the available little bear cubs, and simply enjoy welcoming your newest family member.
Our little bear cubs are much more than pictures on a website. They are living, breathing members of our family, each with their own developing personalities.
For that reason, little bear cubs are **not** selected immediately after birth. We believe families deserve the opportunity to spend time with them before making a lifelong decision.
Selections are made during your scheduled pickup appointment in the order reservation deposits were received.
We will never point to a little bear cub and say, "This is the one you're taking home."
If you would like our opinion, however, we're always happy to share what we've observed. We spend countless hours with our little bear cubs every day and can often identify personality traits that may complement your family's lifestyle.
At the same time, they're still very young. With love, consistency, proper training, and socialization, those personalities continue to grow and develop throughout their lives.
If the remaining little bear cub from a particular litter isn't the right fit for your family, you're always welcome to remain on our waiting list for a future litter.
After more than thirty years of raising Rottweilers, we've learned something remarkable. Time and time again, the little bear cub that joins a family somehow seems to be exactly where they were meant to be. --- Adoption Investment
**AKC Limited (Companion) Registration:** $2,000
**AKC Full Registration:** $3,000
Our adoption investment reflects far more than bringing home a little bear cub.
It represents years of carefully planned breeding decisions, health testing, prenatal care, around-the-clock whelping, early socialization, veterinary care, and the lifelong support we proudly provide every Mid West Rotties family. --- Every Little Bear Cub Goes Home With
Each little bear cub goes home with:
* AKC Registration paperwork * Age-appropriate vaccinations * Routine deworming * Complete veterinary wellness examination * Health records * Starter Adoption Package * Lifetime breeder support --- Starter Adoption Package
Our Starter Adoption Package is designed to help your newest family member settle comfortably into their new home while making those first few weeks easier for you.
It also allows your family time to get to know your little bear cub before investing in supplies that may quickly be outgrown without any additional investment.
As every experienced Rottweiler owner knows...
Little bear cubs don't stay little for very long. --- Payment Options
Reservation deposits are typically accepted through PayPal, providing both your family and ours with a secure record of your reservation.
Final payment is due at pickup and is accepted in cash.
We do not accept checks or credit cards for final payment due to the potential for payment disputes after a little bear cub has already joined their forever family.
In certain situations, we may also consider mutually beneficial barter arrangements for goods or services. These are evaluated individually and are never guaranteed. --- Appreciation Discounts
As a small way of saying thank you, we proudly offer appreciation discounts of up to **$200** for:
* Veterans * Active-duty Military * Law Enforcement * Firefighters * EMTs * Returning Mid West Rotties families
One appreciation discount may be applied per little bear cub.
Freedom isn't free, and we're grateful for those who serve our communities and our country. --- Shipping

Continental United States: **$450*** Alaska: **$500*** Canada: **$600**
The safety of our little bear cubs always comes first.
